hey hey all, i know that things change pretty quickly in th PC world ( there have been several threads about this sort of stuff) so is adaware and spybot still the main free spyware remover of choice ??

I just use the Microsoft one, it does a great job.

I'm also not stupid enough to let any Spyware infect my system in the first place.

i farked up with my install over the weekend with some dodgy codec that loaded up all kinds of s***;

hadnt used either in ages, but dropped back to adaware and spybot and cleaned that s*** up straight away!

you can turn that off (tea timer), like I did, and still use it. S&D ftw.
