Got a mini LAN coming up soon and would like to have some 1v1 and 2v2's of this.

Unfortunately I can't seem to get the client talking to the server. I've downloaded the files from here:

Seems planetquake isn't sporting active links to it these days.

When I start a server and load ra3 to join my own server it gives a "version mismatch" error.

"Version mismatch C1.7-999 S1.76.__"

I'm running version 1.30 of quake3 (final point release)

Anyone have a working version of this or has experienced a similar error and can suggest a fix? Cheers

Tref went insane dude, I called him a bludger as a joke and he lost the plot. Was a good guy, shame.

Anyway, latest point release is 1.32, and yeah it sucks trying to get servers working in RA3. Good luck.

Gaz can you bring me your quake 3 cd into work one day? I cant find mine anywhere.

yeah no probs man, just send me a reminder msn message after like 7pm and i should get it.

I'll find my quake CD and install it on this box. I think i'll put the new box on hold for a month or so until the quad core pricing comes down a bit.

Worst problem is I don't have a "desk" at home now. My Dell 30" is on a small TV cabinet with the keyboard in front. Not exactly an ideal gaming setup!

just get ur girl to make place for where your table should be man.. keybord on the back, across the shoulder blades.. it'll take a little bit to get used to the up/down motion but in a dream land you'd be kickin ass in no time.
