Wow! Was he 75? That was the same age as my poppie when he died. So no real shock. A bit shocked he was THAT old though :)

Can't say I saw him as Rambo though!!

oooH he was the original choice for John J Rambo well that would have sucked cant say i liked many of his movies either Blue thunder sucked balls. jaws was way cool for its time though.

Schneider might have been able to pull off the first Rambo but definitely not the 2nd or 3rd, at least not with the direction they ended up going. I think Schneider would have been better suited to Rambo's commanding officer Trautman than John Rambo himself.
