I doubt it's Rockstars fault. I suspect it would be because the OFLC rejected classification for a few of it's games and as such they've probably just banned the entire catalogue instead of offering the AU versions.

It's only going to encourage piracy.

Although I will admit after the initial period of everyone being afraid of the whole steam idea it has proved to be a a f***ing excellent delivery platform. So I guess it does suck a bit we can't access their titles through it.

Well I've spent 8 hours today trying to install TF2 and various parts of the Orange Box from the DVD and have yet to be successful.

I'm seriously going to kill someone soon, this is f***ing bulls***.

Seriously, I hit install, the progress bar goes way too fast and then it just gets to the end and sits there... does nothing... WHAT THE f***!

how do they know you have a au steam client

i remember signing up through yahoo and have no au identifiers as far as i know.. whats to stop you using a us proxy to access steam and downloading?

We are adults, and purchasing anything on steam requires adult money systems. We have the ability to decide what is acceptable to us or not. We shouldn't have to find methods to get around stupid things like this.
