The wheels are so small that I reckon youd fall into even a small pothole. Not to mention the fact that they'd be scraping whats left of you off the road if you had and accident in it.

from what i've seen of indian roads it'll do really well. 70km/h is faster than you'll need on those roads, and the damage done when you hit a motorbike isn't going to be that bad. The likelyhood of any accident you have being with something which you don't physically dominate is insignificant (except cows, which it'll all depend on your breaking speed).
