Larger PEN15++++

Or a Dell if you want a really really good monitor. I have an Acer 22" that's a lower quality panel but works just awesome for it's price (about $289 atm with cashback).

Chimei 222H does HDMI. MSY sell this monitor for $439 if you live anywhere near them.

Or a Dell if you want a really really good monitor.

dell lcds are pretty average specs compared to samsung. i have to go dell for my work pc & they suck. you end up paying the same money for a top-of-the-line system but it's all components that are good.. but not top of the line. i wanted work to get me a samsung lcd but management are in bed with dell getting kickbacks galore so because of that i gotta get a substandard lcd. poo.

samsung 226bw is still the best quality (2ms, 3000:1 contrast ratio) in the 22" widescreen lcds. it doesn't have hdmi input but you can just get a hdmi to dvi-d cable for it.

+1 for the Samsung 226BW

Although the 3000:1 CR is dynamic, it's still an awesome monitor.. my GF bought one the other week and it looks f***ing hawt!

yep definitely samsung 226bw

my mates got this one and it is the best gaming monitor i have ever seen.
1600x1050 is the optimum resolution for gaming imo, esp with the kickass 2ms. plus the image is so clear and vibrant.. just beautiful.

im going to delegate my 24" dell to general duties and pick up this samsung for my gaming rig.

Interesting Strex, I got a Samsung 226BW as was thinking of going to other way to a 24" or 27" Dell. Anyone got a 24" 245B Sammy? would be curious to see how they compare to the DELL .

yeah people who claim to 'see' a difference can actually be fooled into saying they 'see' a difference between two identical pictures. It's done in the film industry to make directors look like the picky fools they are.
