This movie came out today.

Anyone else see it?

I thought it was pretty good. Like the other movies, a lot of stuff was changed/left out, but what can you expect.

I heard the bit at the end in the ministry of magic is really disappointing too. Honestly though, when you look at the sheer size of the fifth book, you'd have to expect they'd need to completely butcher it to fit it into a 2 hour movie. They had to completely butcher the fourth one and it wasn't even as long...

Hopefully it won't be full of ignorant adults like my session today was. I probably would've preferred kids. They might've been quiet out of aw.

The fight scene at the Ministry was pretty good. Not Transformer action, but magical action, so action in its own right.

good movie, the fight scene was pretty cool.

without having read the books you lose a lot of the story though.

yer movie was pretty good. not the best though. the spells that voldemort and dumbledore used at the end were pretty awsome. my order for best to worst movie would be 3,4,5,2,1.

i saw this tonight and really loved it. IMO they are getting a lot better cuz they aren't little kids anymore. they are getting into the darker part of the story and that just makes it a lot cooler. the spell fighting at the end was so cool and the very last fight was just icing on the cake. that shockwave spell voldemort uses to break all that glass was kick ass

I liked it, saw it for $5 this morning at Southbank on the big screen.

Too many d******* highschool students though, there was like 2 schools.

I had to see it because my much worse half HAD to see it...was OK. Didn't seem any different from the rest except everyone was older. It was as good as the books, average at best.

i have never fallen asleep in a movie before but i did in this one, what a waste of 7 bucks. never have i been to a movie which had soo little happen in it the whole thing was just talking bla bal bla.

speaking of falling asleep. when i saw transformers some guy in the row behind me fell asleep and started snoring. everyone had a laugh.

I thought it was pretty good; it jumped around a bit as they tried to capture all the stuff that happened in the book, which was always going to be its biggest challenge (if you havent read the books, they get like 200 pages longer each time). Personally I'd rather have a three hour movie that better develops everything, but I guess that's probably a bit long for the target audience.

Also there were a bunch of speds in the audience when I was there that clapped when Harry kissed Cho.
