Guys and Girls,

Im blagging some contract web design work over here (after hours). I can do basic css / asp.net, but my design skils arent the best.

My plan is to farm it out to someone and take a cut of course. If you are keen, and not a time waster, the post back here some samples of work and your rate.

Ill be meeting them on Weds to get the full scope of the project, but im pretty sure its just going to be a 5-10 page micro / brocher site about the company. Just who we are, what we do style.

I know the client quite well and they turn over a quite a few thousand k each month.

Why don't you just buy one from BoxedArt or TemplateMonster?

these out of the box solutions always do about 90% of the tasks. i know the client will come back with changes and thats where ill get stuck.

Unfortunately AJAX ain't much better, and some things really shouldn't be done with full-page refreshes.

Flash does have its uses, but using flash for the sake of using it is just silly. And yes, I'm a flash developer and I'm saying that.

I'd rather use AJAX for simple GUI s*** over flash any day of the week. Obviously if you need to make your website more, uh, flashy, then Flash is your only option - but don't you get sick of clicking on a website and having to wait 30 seconds for a flash thing to load before you can even see what the website is about?!

you should make a fake survey and say out of the 100 people surveyed 2 like flash and the others skip flash sites and look for the basic html form. From this I conclude your website to be static html k?

Flash and PDF are used way too much online.

Web apps shouldn't NEED a plug in to work.
