Made by the same guys who do/did deadwood, i was kind of skeptical watching this show thinking that luke perry would bring forth my homosexual tendencys again, but alas its actually a really cool show,

to sum up the story its about a grandfather *who can levitate* his son who is a drugy and his son *who appears to be able to heal* all of which are surfers/ex surfers, and then there is john, a guy who appears quite dim witted and only says whats already been said to him, he also has magic pockets that pull out what ever he wants.

it has the same filthy words as deadwood but far less articulate *except for the cool surfy talk* and there is a strong epic storyline slowly building up.

I just started watching the first season of deadwood. Seems a little slow moving to me. Does it get better? I was pretty shocked when that "best gun slinger" dude was killed like 4-5 eps into it!

yeah its a slow moving show, you might even find you will have to rewatch eps to get whats going on, but its television at its finest.

Sounds interesting so I'm gonna leech the two eps that are out. Hope it turns out to be an awesome show.

That new HBO show about the NewZealand band members who move to NY didn't do it for me.. too much singing and the stupid jokes were too stupid. Will try this though, thanks for the recommendation.
