Hey what's the best shopping cart out there that can be purchased (not rented per month) for under $400?
I've been looking at sunshop but it has mixed reviews. All the top rated ones (see below) are either rented or too expensive. I had a look at x-cart but it's got some bad reviews so I think sunshop is ahead at this point... Anyone with any experience? http://www.shopping-cart-reviews.com/search-for-shopping-carts.aspx?iw=True&il=True&iu=True&im=True&mp=0&xp=2001&la=99 http://shopping-cart-review.toptenreviews.com/ Last question, if I purchase an e-cart program can it be used on any hosting provider or does it have to be supported? |

x-cart - $199.00+ USD
Some pros: smarty template driven, handles most payment gateways, support Some cons: costs osCommerce - free Some pros: free, heaps of modules/plug-ins, good community forums Some cons: good level of html/css/php to make it actually look decent These two usually run on any mysql/php enabled server. If in doubt, dial your hosting provider and ask them. last edited by goggs at 10:20:26 28/Mar/07 |
