i have ben looking around and was looking at the nano 8gb but i don't want to be a fanboi so i want to know if anyone has other experiences with other mp3 players

i don't particularly want a big screen but i do want to be able to load it up

another feature i would be looking for is a long ass battery time

I always liked my i-River, and it has stood the test of time.
Friend got a new-ish one and likes it.

it's not about being a nonfanboi, it's about getting more for less, and no itunes.

The irivers are even better value than creatives.

n73 is a 3.2meg cam
k800 is 2meg with led flash...
also i think you can only go to 1gb mem on the SE's and the n73 i have heard you can go to 4gb

i have to use fancy M2 memory which is like 1/4 the size of the memory that goes in your phone, i dunno what advantages it carries over normal SD s***

apart from the advantage for sony that all their new phones run it

you should have gone into a shop and looked at them IRL

I just got myself a Nokia 6280. It's pretty spiffy but the ringing/alarm doesn't seem loud enough to me.

My sister got an iRiver H20 (20gb,fm,pics) about a yr ago. iRivers have to be the best value players on the market.

But... I'd have to say their sound and screen quality isn't up to par with the iPod and Zen players.

You get what you pay for.

becarfeul of n73s connecting to the internet

have heard a few peeps have had dramas with them running up bills, by connecting to the internet when u dont want it to

i have a n73 for my work phone and the interface for getting to mp3s is a bit clunky (i like to select my songs)

also, nokia sux for using that gay jack, rather than a 3.5ml for the headphones

sound is good

I use a Creative Vision:M as my primary player for tunes on the go. I'd strongly recommend it. I'd say it's better than iPod, due to lack of iTunes and it supports a wide range of codecs (including Divx and Xvid).
