Anyone recommend a cheap place to pickup Wii games?

I would prefer somewhere in the valley, or alternatively the cbd.

Cheapest I can find is at target and kmart. Get a mate who works there to buy them and get the staff discount. Thats what we have found to be the cheapest price

On an interesting side note, there is a Wii mod chip coming out like this month or next.

I bought Call of Duty from Myer for $85. They have some good games on sale for $79. JB's range was s*** compared to Myer (Indooroopilly). Nun chucks still weren't in either.

CoD is pretty cool. f***in hard to control so far. Hoping it will get easier as I get used to it. When I throw grenades I feel like a f***ing gumby. It's very spammy. I'd love to be playing it in HD but it still looks a'ight on my big, old, dodgey tube.

I rented COD, seemed pretty sweet. i think you can switch off the grenade throwing with the nunchuck.

Well it took me aaages to get used to the controls... and hten the game finished. Pretty short game. The Wii seems to struggle with some parts where there are massive battles going on - the controls kept locking up.

Any good one player games that also have multiplayer option? And does anyone want to trade CoD for soemthing else?

I'm putting it down to crappy journalism/reviewing in the games biz when I say, not one review I read correctly portrayed how bad the frame rate in CoD3 got. Quite a lot of battles in the second half of the game were totally unplayable. The last battle in particular I had to simply run off and hide in a corner hoping not to get shot, while my buddies finished the job.

*For those unaware: Slowdown on a control system like the Wii is different to a normal game pad. In CoD3's case it makes walking in a straight line incredibly challenging, let alone aiming.

Yeh it was pretty lame the first run through, cause i was still getting used to the controls, and when I could find a good spot to hide I'd stick my head out to see that my team had already taken everyone out. I'm playing it all over again on Hard so hopefully I'll get some better gameplay out of that.

I'm borrowing Splinter Cell off a mate soon so I'll let y'all know what I think of that too:p

don't do it. it's a terrible port.

The thing that s***s me off the most about COD is that the sound wasn't stereo?!?! Was that just my busted TV or what? When I put my headphones in there was absolutely NO stereo sound in the shooting or speech... which is ridiculous!
