Firstly, I started a new thread rather than reviving an old one because the old one was just an argument about different TV shows and the crapness.

Sawyer gets shown they are on a separate island when the others take him up the hill. But before that, it seems like the team that goes to get Sayiid, Sun and Jin aren't in a boat, which would suggest they are all on the same island?

Also, at the start of the season the others' houses are definitely on the same island...

THey could have houses on both islands ?

I assumed they were just tricking him.

The others have a sub, as mentioned by one of them and that is how they were able to sneak up from the behind when sayid was all jungle commando.

Take notice of alot of the chatter from the old dude Tom, like in one episode he says something like "every since the sky turned purple we've been blind and our coms are still down. I think it was tom who said the sub was back.

I dont mind this season so far, however I dont bother analysing it - just watch.

Heroes ftw, just watched the ending of last weeks ep good s***.

this show is great, i don't think about it too much though or my brain hurts.

I'm liking season 3 much more than season two. each episode seems to cover a lot more ground. they arn't f***ing us around so much and waiting 4 episodes before showing something theyve got you thinking about, each episode has been pretty giving imo.

I think everyone else is right though. The less you think about it, the more you'll enjoy it :)

lost has been excellent this season, prison break has been excellent this season, its been a great season of tv.

If anyone's watched the season 2 DVD specials features disc the creator of the show reckons the second half of season 3 is gonna be awesome. I'm not gonna hold my breath but at least season 3 is an ass-load better than 2 was.

Another interesting thing also is they have 1 week to shoot each ep and that includes everything from the very first shot to editing the video and then airing it on tv. Obviously a lot of work goes into making the show but I can't help think this is the reason why so many of the eps are so crap because they don't have alot of time to work out an awesome story. But again, the creator has said that they aren't making it up as they go and they've got everything planned but I think that's a half truth. You only have to compare Lost with something like Heroes or Dexter and you can tell the stories are nowhere as well written.

Anyway, if you can get hold of the special features disc from season 2 it's worth watching.

I'm still pissed off about Eko - other than the show is holding my interest.

yeah, having not been too interested in season 1 or 2 (i thought it was f***ing stupid how they didn't show the monster). this season seems much better but its still doing donuts.

at least is sounds like they're wrapping it up in 2009 or 2010 :(

I'm not trying to analyse it I was just asking an obvious question:O

I think the problem about this show is that it requires very little to no thought. Yes there are a lot of secrets and there is heaps of stuff still to be revealed, but the stories are always so obviously pointed out. I've tried to go back and watch seasons twice but even the episodes I haven't seen in ages are still familiar and offer NOTHING new the second time you see them. All dialogue is totally literal and simply narrates each episode.

Compare that to something like Sopranos or Deadwood which both completely enhance your experience of the shows if you watch them again.

The thing I hate about Lost is the way they cheat the viewer. Whenever someone asks a question that we want answers for, the person just ignores them and stares blankly into the distance. That to me is poor writing and just drags the show out for longer.

Also. How awesome was the latest ep of Heroes???? f*** it was good.

yep ep10 was another awsome episode. next weeks ep looks great too.

Season 3 is infinitely better than Season 2; I heard a heap of the writers takling at ComicCon this year about how much they changed it based on viewer complaints.

As for the whole island thing, I wondered if it wasn't actually an Atol or C shaped island that's connected somewhere; or possibly connected via the Hydra station (the underwater one).
