HOFF who can resist
Hasselhoff boasted on Tuesday night that the princess was "smitten" with him and "sparks" flew between them when they met in 1993. Hasselhoff, 54, recently divorced his wife Pamela Bach, 43, and insists that he and Princess Diana, who tragically died in a 1997 Paris car crash, would have slept together "if circumstances had been different". Gotta love the HOFF! EDIT Damn story thing nasty urls! |

Is there anything Hoff cannot do?!? He can't fly into outerspace and then circle around the earth so fast that the world starts spinning the other way and time goes backwards so he can save his girlfriend who DIED IN HER CAR... hmmm. |

I was working in the Pilbra, basically near Tom Price. Helpdesk support / admin / not much... Pay, lots because of the remote location, plus you get a tax benifit for being remote, and I mean remote. 12 hours a day 7 days a week and 4 weeks straight, should have been 3/1 but I opted to do extra week on my shifts. Contracted $40/hr basically $480 a shift nothing to pay all accomodation and food is covered. |

You don't get paid for the week or 2 weeks you take off, I was only on a 3 month contract so I think I was getting above the average, the palces are REMOTE, and like all jobs, they are there all you need is the initative to look and keep looking to get them, and a willigness to work.
QLD also has a boom in the mining sector, central QLD is also supposed to be going off. Yeah the money is good but you sacrifice a lot in order to get the money, like weekends and social life, make no mistake its a hard life style but rewarding. I'm looking to get back in because 2/3 years doing this then sit back and take life easy is the goal. EDIT:: Just for those that don't know me, I'm 41 and have been in IT since 1985, that helps me find jobs others cannot. Sorry but that is the reality of truth, but I was working with some young guys who just keep persisting till they got in, so its possible. last edited by GumbyNoTalent at 11:59:07 15/Sep/06 |
