Well after having mutiple crashes with WMM and its complete lack of use-ability if Im making a movie thats over 1 min long, I've decided I need some decent video editing software. I have Ulead video, which is also complete crap to use and not to mention does not work at all with a n-vidia dualmon setup. So what else is there that I can download for free (freeware, not torrents etc..) or can buy from a shop thats is decently priced and is a good quality program?

thanks

err you do understand that torrents can have legitimate sources...
What you said there is like saying I want to download something (but neither from a browser nor FTP)

Have you checked sourceforge? You might find something usable there. Other than that I don't hold out much luck for you. Video Editing Software is generally only one of two things, crap or expensive. Sometimes, it's both!

The intention of what he is saying is clear though. He doesn't want to download pirated products.

If all you're making is an avi, virtualdub is pretty cool. It's free. It can't output to anything other than AVI though. I think you'll find most cheap programs will be crap as they don't have the funding of the bigger name products like say adobe premiere. If you own a copy of nero, install nerovision express or whatever it's called.

I just use movie maker. I can trim scenes and add them together as I see fit.

That is all I need to get them from the camera to DVD so it works for me.

I use Premiere for Capture though (MM does it without any problems though)
