Seems to be a few discoveries relating to our origin and evolutions lately. This study claims:

The researchers say the findings, published today in the journal Science, offer a counterargument to doubters of evolution who question how a progression of small changes could produce the intricate mechanisms found in living cells.
...
"The evolution of complexity is a longstanding issue in evolutionary biology," said Joseph W. Thornton, professor of biology at the University of Oregon and lead author of the paper. "We wanted to understand how this system evolved at the molecular level. There's no scientific controversy over whether this system evolved. The question for scientists is how it evolved, and that's what our study showed."
...
Dr. Thornton's experiments focused on two hormone receptors. One is a component of stress response systems. The other, while similar in shape, takes part in different biological processes, including kidney function in higher animals.

And basically it suppose to refute the ID's proponent stance for "irreducibly complex" _flaw_ in evolution theory.

Interesting read anyway:

Note: the orginal article was written by a journalist for NY Times, which requires rego to read... the site I linked copy and paste the article.

So, like who or what designed the molecules?

Actually, and more to the point, who or what defined the laws of physics?

If we knew, there would be no reason to continue with Science at all. That's the point of Science .. to get closer to some sort of understanding, through analysis of the world.

I'd rather admit that I don't know the answers rather than the Religious approach of pretending I know everything!

As matter itself approaches the speed of light, doesn't it it's weight and physical dimensions reduce infinitely and it's mass increases infinately.
Meaning it would be nothing and yet everything at the same time.

So god was really some crazy nutjob who went at the speed of light from some other planet :P

What's the meaning of life? Why is the universe here?

I think whoop answered this spastic question you are asking in another thread fairly well.

Or like parabol said, at least science explains things with real fact.
I could invent some psuedo-creation story that anybody could understand that involved 10 foot tall monkey's wearing snowcones for undergarments and it would be as credible as the bible.
Oh yeah, I forgot, I'll just throw in a few names of kings in the era I decide to write it and some landmarks and it would have some historical evidence to it.
