Don't know if you have heard much about this, but the price of shares in a Japanese company called Livedoor were 689yen (Approx $8) a week ago and now they are at around 130yen (Approx $1.50)

Why? They are very naughy people indeed. Buying their own shares with other companies that they own (highly illegal) to boost their share prices.

Anyway, s*** has hit the fan and one of the biggest internet companies in Japan is not in great shape.

I would be more then a little cheesed off right now if I had any shares in this company.

Sounds like there are good times ahead for all involved.

Yeah. That happened just before I left. My host dad lost about $5000 worth of stocks. I laughed at him

i think there's been several suicides in japan as a result of all that. strange mob.

How can your shares lose 500% value? If they lost more than 100% of their value, they would be paying you to take up shres, and be worth a negative amount! :D
