A BOY, 8, involved in the alleged gang-rape of a girl, 3, in Cairns will escape prosecution because he is too young.

OMG this story shocked me, i have no children but how the hell does an 8 year old know what/how to do this sort of thing. This sort of thing sickens me and i can only hope you young girl may be too young to remember what happened to her in later years. I feel too that the 8 year olds parents should be looked into and some form of punishment be handed out to the child. If he gets off scott free, and he knows he can't be punished until he's 10, whats to stop him doing it again (If he even realizes what he's done).

It's true, a 13 year old and an 11 year old were also involved but they are being disciplined for the offense.

The 13 year old was probably the problem here and his younger friends just followed his lead but this is still a sickening thing to have happened.
