Topic: Grafix Problems with V8 Supercars 2

Hi there people. I don't post on here often but I'm totally stumpted. I got myself a copy of V8 supercars 2 and I seem to be having some strange graphics problems. When I start the game I can see the cars and the track fine but all background objects appear as a white shadow. I know it's gotta be a grapics problem but I had the same problem in Farcry until I put the new patch on which appeared to fix it. I got a Geforce 4 Ti4200 with all AA turned off and Dx9 etc etc. I've followed all troubleshooting that I can find online and turned all graphics options down full. I've updated to lates Nvidia ref drivers also. I dont have these problems with any other other games I have. Just wondering if anyone else out there had the same problems with this game. Could be video incompatibility issues? By the way it is patched up to 1.2 which I believe is the latest patch.

Any help would be appreciated.

I've had the same problems, too.

Try the Omega graphic driver, they fix this bug...usually.

After a careful analysis of your post and further consultation with the help desk, I've concluded that your grafix problem has been caused by your little brother, sister or pet gerbil having an accident with the liquid paper. Its seeped through the keyboard onto your main processing centre :P (or thought area) of your computer and is manifesting itself as a white blotch on your display. ie it now has 'white thoughts'.
Have u had pictures of virgins, innocent children or Michael Jackson appearing on your monitor also?
This can also be another side-effect. To remedy this problem you must expose your CPC (computer thought centre) to radical 'Jamie Durie' shock treatment. This involves bombarding your CPC with large doses of reality-tv shows. Try setting your computer up in front of the TV whilst Survivor or Australian Idol is playing. Playing Tools latest album on the CD player is a good primary reinforcer also. Doing this helps your CPC to develop 'black gamma waves of thought' to juxtapose the 'white thoughts'. There have been experimental trials using black ink, although the correlations observed did not denote causation in those cases.
Yours is an interesting case though. You state that it is only background images, and not foreground. Therefore a Freudian analysis is perhaps more appropriate.
Does your computer have visions of mythological beings in bed with their mothers?

I hope these fixes help you in your troubleshooting, otherwise I am stumpted also.
yours in service
