I was invited into a group chat on msn the other day and something surprised me.

The session was filled with 13 year olds and i would just like to say - i don't remember being as immature.

"You're mum has sex with snails and eats them after"
I hadn't even spoke before they threw these constant "put-downs".
-This was followed by each of them typeing
"LOLLOLOMGOMGLOL"

There immaturity became less amusing after 5 minutes and i tried to explain to them that there insults weren't actually insulting anyone but themselves...they replied -

"That's because your mum has sex with men and wears dildos and has sex with the men in the bum"


Does anyone remember doing this? I'm sure i was rather giggily about the "sex" subject when i was their age, but i don't remember insulting people so poorly. Sure it was the fashion to make sexual jokes back in the day - but these kiddies were beyond a joke.

Even when i attempted to mock them by mimicking their language, they didn't recognise it. They thought i was 'copying' there GOLD insults to try and get back at them. Of course they couldn't tell me this without a few "LOLLOLOLOLOMG"'s on the side.

I was bored at the time and found it facinating. Maybe i give myself more credit than i deserve - but i remember being smarter.
