I reckon you'd be better off with a 5600FX as well since they aren't much more but will give you a longer life and better image quality

how much are the geforce fx cuz i can get that card for $195 and it has 3 years warrenty

edit: AMD ATHLON/THOROUGHBRED XP2400 (2.0ghz) Socket A does that sound like a better cpu?

Unless that 5600 is an ultra, which i don't think it is, it is going to be slower than the 4200.

ASUS A7N8X-X if u get the asus make sure its the deluxe

however the abit n7f-s V2.0 is cheaper and better. from www.below-0.net

Only in some games and not by much at that. Plus when FSAA and Aniso are turned on then the FX leaves the TI for dead.

i have that same video card the albatron one and i have the a7n8x deluxe board and an xp2200, 10 000 3d2001 marks... oh and 2x256mb pc3200 ddr

heh p4 2gig asus gf4ti4200 2*256mb pc2100 ram and 10300 3d marks, btw this 2gig does 2.6 with standard cooling and the board is a p4g8x, sifn't intel =p... this is koopz old board and the 2 gig for the record does 3gig with corsair ram...
