I got this problem, I need to add dial up adapter to a computer so it can use dial up internet. The problem is, in the network properties, I can add client, protocol and service. But Adapter doesn't appear in that list. I reinstalled the network card and adapter still doesn't appear. This is with windows ME which is know is considered a peiece of crap so I don't need people to tell me that, it's my computer and that's the operating system.
On my computer I always have adapter in the list (win98se). So is something wrong with this other computer or is adding dial up adapter just something that is outside the scope of my computer expertise (which is reasonably minimal) thanks to anyone that can help. |

yeah i have the modem installed. i can dial with it and everything, but i don't have dial up adapter installed so it can't actually connect to the isp.
I don't understand why I can't add adapters through network properties, I have always been able to before. |
