Not too sure if the term 'Unlimited' is the right one to use here. Dont the broadband providers set limits on the amount you can upload/download? |

im on internode unlimited, 1512/512. the way it works is u dl as much as u want (errr unlimited) but if you dl to much, u start loosing privledge of the bandwidth and can loose speed.
i dont mind loosing the speed, because normally the lowest it will go is about 50k/sec, and with the amount we dl, its worth it....... |

I have netspace 512k. I pay 100 a month for 14 gig but considering the great service and full speed all the time I reckon its a great deal.

I've been looking at the same thing for the past week or 2. Was initially drawn to TPG's offer (unltd ADSL, $69.95/month (paid quarterly and upfront), 256/64, and $129 to connect w/ free modem til May 15), but after posting around on various sites and asking friends, I've been turned off TPG due to reports about bad service, dropouts, bad pings, etc, so have decided after much reviewing to go for Netspace's Home 512 plan (512/128, $69.95/month paid either monthly or quarterly, 6Gb cap and only 9c/Mb over quota, and 6-18 month contract - up 2 u, and higher connection cost for shorter contract). I'll b getting 6-month contract WITH modem, for $289, and paying monthly, so initial cost will be ~$360, which is only 20 bucks more than initial cost for TPG, I don't have to worry about a big bill every 3 months (ie if I have a bad month for bills), and I get a faster speed (512/128 compared to 256/64). Sure it's capped, but I highly doubt I'll go over 6Gb/month, and if I do it's not that pricey, and the next plan up, 14Gb/month, is only $99/month. Only prob is now I have to wait til 25th of this month or later, since my payday is 15th of each month and each monthly charge is debited 10 days prior to your anniversary of joining - don't wanna b hit at the end of the pay month hehe. Plus I'm getting my R9700 Pro finally this month, so it's good timing seeing I may have 2 put the ADSL off til June... |

Go with OzForces unlimited ADSL. 512 is $99 a month and 256 is $76 (i think). They are great for games, fast reliable and well known. |

From what I've seen iiNet appears to be the best bet for ADSL 256/64 is only about $70. It's capped at 3 Gb but there's no excess but the speed drops down to about 72k/s. 512/128 is about $90 capped at 6Gb but with the same deal on the excess. Same with 1.5/256 but it's about $140.

With iiNET It's not 72kb/s on iinet.. it's 72kbps
meaning it's only slightly faster than 56kbps... which works out to be like 7kps.. |
