After saving for a car for what feels like forever, amms and i have finally bought one. We originally wanted a turbo jap import but insurance was even more scary then what we ended up getting so that plan had to be shelved. Instead we decided to try and find something that was reasonably quick, australian delivered and was fun to drive.

As of Wednesday we've become the proud owners of a 1993 Honda Integra Vti-R. After saving for so long its so good to finally have a nice car which is 100% ours :)

picked it up for 14k, insurance is another 1600 to bear on top of that but its the price you pay for what they classify as a high performance vechile.

yeah ive been trying to track down a decent set of seat covers since getting the car, but its impossible to find any. Everywhere ive tried (autobarn,kmart,repco,supercheap) only seem to stock s***ty covers with bright colours or "racing/brand" logos slapped right accross them, either that or they are made of very flimsy material. All we want are some plain black (or close to) covers made with decent material.

Oh and of course vtir is vtec, asif youd buy a non-vtec one. Only problem is how addictive that engine noise is once you hit 5000 odd rpm :)

nah no turbo hence no blow off valve. Like i said, a turbo would be nice but they're just too expensive.

Lol... oh dear. I can't believe the world has come to this. A person can know that a blowoff valve makes that noise, but not that a Vtec Honda doesn't have a turbo and therefore doesn't need a blowoff valve.... pathetic.
