Hey all, with Christmas fast approaching I think it's best to keep the LANs coming thick and fast, so the weekends AFTER the QGL Finals GameServe will be having it's 3rd B'day LAN on the Gold Coast.

It's a 200 player max, 1 day event taht will only cost $15. But I'm sure the thing you're really interested in is the comps so...

COMPS:
Due to this being a 1 day event we've had to limit our comps to make sure we fit them all in, but the following should cover all gaming needs.
Counter-Strike. 5 x 5, MR11*, Single Elim
UT2oo3. 5 x 5, InstaGib - Bombing Run, Single Elim
BF1942. 8 x 8, Single Elim
Warcraft 3. 2x2x2x2x2, 1 hour limit
Quake 3. FFA, Top 16 play Single Elim Duels

NOVELTY COMP: BF1942 Stunt Comp
This can be single player or team based, stunts scored by a panel and the best score wins.

(* MR11 is the same as MR12 but with 11 rounds to reduce possible draws)

Sorry guys, not at the GCI Hotel this time :( We're saving that place for a massive SIEGE early next year.

It's in a room of similar size though, and right underneath is the university restaurant (it's at Bond University).
