1) it was really dark
2) ran into eachother

6) i lost $15 dollars for paying for it
7) i lost 30mins of my life

Sif I didn't play Laser Force for the first time at Schoolies 2 years ago. I went to that dodgy place in Paradise Center Gold Coast.

A group of 5 chicks challenged us boys to a match, and the losers had to "entertain" the winners for a night.

Anyway, my f***en gun wouldn't work so I just chased this brunette chick into the little glowing UFO and the rest is history :)

I went there for like my 12th birthday or something and these fellas walked through the back while a game was on with a couple of bags of goon and stuff it was really weird

actually ive been to skirmish ... three times although ive had fun there the thing i hate most about it is the guns dont shoot straight and also when the bullet hits the leaves and sprays, or the time when u do shot someone and hits and he just ignore it and keep shotting back at you... the place at the gabba aint that dogde i been before dont know about any smoke but the maze wasnt that bad seen worse (i.e zone 3) this i think is 3 levels though it does have 1 major camp spot
and i hope none of u end up at... balls will be chopped for it...

this is in the hope of getting some of you c***s who sit behind computer playing cs all night long out and having fun doing some physical activity if all goes well me may make it a regular event hope u all do have fun.

Quake team deathmatch is about item control. There are no items in CS so CS is about "objective" control.

(ie. hostages, bombsites etc)

How realistic is respawning as soon as you die? CS is sposed to be a realistic team game. Quake will never be realistic.

Obviously you never gave yourself a chance to get past newbie status in CS. Being the person who rushes in, kills a whole team is perhaps one of the most exhilerating experiences. Yeah, dying sucks, you have to wait - I don't know which Quake you're refering too, but I'm presuming FFA. I suppose you don't like RA3 either, 'cause you have to wait when you die - or isn't that as bad because you only have to wait shorter times?

ra3 is so much more profesionally made and it was made in half the time without the need for all those betas

Well, you can't say RA3 took half the time. If you take into account how long RA2-RA3 took - development time etc it all adds up. CS is TOTALLY new - and there's certainly a lot more involved than RA3. For example - new weapons and models - not just maps and code...

And you also said that CS's weapons arent at all realistic. Mate, there are realistic as it can be in a game. And also realise that HL is built on the Quake2 engine. And Counter-Strike is a mod on top of Half-Life. Seems kinda lame that a mod of a mod of Quake2 is far more popular than a brand-spanking new Quake3 mod?
