The Torchlight II beta is going really well, and is nearing its end. But before we go, we're going to do a wide network stress test this weekend! We'll be sending out many more beta codes to those who have already made their Runic Games Account. --> https://secure.runicgames.com/signup

I had a mate sign up today and got a key within a few hours. Its a stress test so servers may be dodgy.

+1! I agree. Great value for money. Great game. I enjoyed the beta more then D3.

Very fun game, definitely well worth the $20 and can see a heap of hours being put into the game. Also 6 player co-op was hectic and hilarious.

Heh, the level in that video looks like the joke level from D3. Think I'll pass, doubt I'd have time to play it anyway

yeah it looks a little bit wow like but the gameplay is great. the combat mechanics work well and guns are fun. useful for taking down bosses you don't wanna get close enough to melee.

Art style has been the same since the first, albeit this has gotten a bit sharper in certain models. Though I though it was more gameplay then graphics khel?

How does the multiplayer work, is it client hosted peer-peer or server based like Diablo III?

Peer-to-peer matchmaking or LAN multiplayer.

So - I played the Diablo III beta and got bored.
Played the Torchlight II beta - and fell in love :) Granted, it's by the guys who did D1 and D2, but still.

Now that I have the full D3 - I'm bored again, and not just because of 3003.

Any hints on the TL2 release date?

Is it lacking that nutty taste that Blizzard's s*** provides?
