Creative Assembly have released what appears to be the first in a series of extended gameplay videos for their upcoming feudal Japan strategy sequel Shogun 2: Total War.

Adopting the "Battle Report" moniker that we've seen in the past from other strategy games such as StarCraft 2 and Red Alert 3, today's clip offers a 6 minute chunk of Shogun 2 multiplayer action, narrated by the developers.

Shogun 2: Total War is due on PC in 2011.

Biggest plus for me was the Japanese dialogue. This is starting to look pretty good.
