Any more comments or posts in this or any other topic on QGL Servers, from DI clan members, on this subject, will be considered as confirmation that the war will continue FOREVER, and it will never STOP. Let's "mature" a little then. I think that we can all agree on that??? If not then throw the fuel in the fire and lets keep going.

And thinking that I will be hated by a lot of people?? Most people are not as simple minded as you think!! I CAN play under any handle without copping ANY abuse! So in di’s effort to disparage me will not succeed!!

As people can now see that 6 people/a clan all attacking ONE person, was totally ludicrous and an attempt to belittle me, and has not succeeded. In fact cause you all represent the di clan you have all done yourselves damage inc!!!!

So come back to reality!!

The biggest problem in anything to do with the whole computer gaming scene - at any level, from the 1v1 scene, to the clan scene (especially the clan scene) to the whole of running of "competing" lans - is the level of maturity is, for want of a better word, 0.

It is really not that hard to get along, yall.

You don't see this sort of behaviour in many other sports, probably because you have to spend a lot more time face to face with your teammates. You don't have the opportunity to pull a lot of the s*** that you can do in an online forum.

To be honest, I'm not really following this thread too closely - it appears to be a fairly normal clan whinging story on behalf of all parties I've seen both. I've no real interest in either of them, but personally, I'd prefer it if you kept it off the boards, because it a) makes you all look like spoilt children) and b) makes the whole gaming scene like its made up of spoilt children.

I, and all the other QGL admin-types, have spent a lot of time, effort, and money into trying to make computer gaming more professional in Australia. This is the sort of stuff that quite simply will drag it back into nothingness.

Remember that we have potential sponsors and advertisers that might be reading these boards. If they see a stack of posts by a bunch of people all saying "f*** YOU", its far less likely that they'll take us seriously - and you - and therefore less likely that we'll be able to provide as much stuff as we want.

All that it takes is a bit of maturity. When you're playing a game and someone is talking smack, try not to take it too personally. That said, if you ARE talking smack, don't go to far - there's nothing wrong with the occaisional flame and "sif I didn't rail your ass all over the shop that last game" sort of comments, but some of the stuff that happens is waaaaaaaay over the top.

Remember:

a) It's just a game
b) some people take it seriously
c) some people don't take it seriously
d) treat other people with respect

Again, I'm not following this thread too closely; this was more of a general statement about how I think gamers should be treating each other.

Be nice, play hard. If you're good, you've got nothing to worry about. If you're not good - practice; play people better than you, and then get good. There's nothing better than the feeling of going from the point where someone used to kick your ass, and then all of a sudden, you're keeping up with them, and then - you're whupping them.

Of course, there's nothing worse than if you used to smack around little newbie punks (like I used to do to boba) and then they play 24/7 and turn into one of the best players in the state, leaving you to wonder what the hell happened to the last 7 years of multiplayer gaming. Sigh.
