Does anyone remember something in the news a while back about an author who did a murder in the same way he wrote about in his book, or something like that?

I remember reading in a fiction novel about an author who killed someone the same way as they'd written it in a book, but I don't think it happened in real life to my knowledge.

I read something about an author who was accused by someone of doing this. The police looked into it (by reading the book) and it wasn't the case. Haven't heard of what you're talking about though.

It was also an episode of Bones where someone committed crimes like in Brennen's book. It's also probably been an episode of just about every murder mystery ever where one of the main characters is a writer.

bones is pretty lame, castle is pretty lame aswell, but nathan fillion sometimes makes up for it with the odd lolz... sadly it needs more then just him to make the show better.
