THE new season of The Biggest Loser has had to be radically re-edited after a Brisbane contestant was charged with possessing child pornography.

Deryck James Ward, 26, of Gaythorne in Brisbane's northwest, was charged by Queensland police on January 16 in relation to material allegedly found at his home

What a pain to use someone in a reality show and then they go off and make a disgrace of themselves.

I reckon the answer is definitely 'yes' because it falls under 'accessing' child porn. In reality though I think most juries would find it unreasonable to charge you under these circumstances though because it's out of your control. It would fall back to the rules of the forum which clearly state that such material is illegal, therefore you believed that no such material would exist on the forum.

Yeah, it's dicey though, and I know what you mean having browsed /b/ a fair bit - some of the stuff that flicks up sometimes you just hope to f*** that someone is going to jail.

I've reported messages I've received on MSN to the feds before as well - I received one really f***ed up explicit one once. Forwarded it straight away. I can't stand child exploitation - there's a special place of hate in my heart for pedo's, and an extra extra special place of hate for people that actually CREATE child porn because for me that's about a thousand times more heinous crime.

I had never heard of 4chan before this thread, googled it, got an address... but its a dead link or something - i.e. browser comes up with error page etc

so i had a look on some of the other links from 4chan showing in google and laughed my ass off at a couple of the youtube videos

TL;DR - ex-Brighton Grammar teacher was charged with 16,000 child porn images on his computer a while back, found guilty. A fair amount of content was found to be generated by the teacher himself including an abuse video. Children aged 6-16.
