Steam is free quota.

It's nice, but there isnt a lot to download around this time of year, was going to have to download a bunch of random crap just to hit my cap in 3 days, let alone having a whole day unmetered.

That'd be right I just downloaded 15 gigs of linux yesterday. Lucky iinet upgraded the usage to 50gig/50gig so I probs wont use it all anyway.

Can someone explain the new plans, i'm currently on 50/70 and i pay 109 a month but it seems like i'll pay that much for 40/40??

55Gb done, according to Alt.binz I'm good for another 60Gb before midnight strikes with about 30minutes to spare. Hopefully my DL speed doesn't drop or Christmas will be ruined.

I'm getting 600-700KB/sec, nothing like the solid 1.4MB/sec I usually get. Earlier it was 400-500.

it seems to be just on usenet.. HTTP downloads flying along.

I must've just checked my client at the wrong time I've been avg'n 1.1MB/sec since midnight.

I'm getting like 20-40kb/sec, where normally i'd be getting 10times that speed..

Now updating my soundblaster drivers and all that jazz.. 2hrs+ to download 102.3mb..
