Peter Bjorn & John - Lay it Down

Is that this year!? Wow. Seems so old. Will def. vote for that.

Will def vote for Undisclosed Desires as well, top song.

Other than that I'm thinking something La Roux (probably Tigerlily) and something Children Collide (if it's 2009 then definitely Skeleton Dance). Also not sure if 2009 but Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Maps will go in for sure.

Will consider Temper Trap songs: Science of Fear, Sweet Disposition.

On the poppy side of life will probs go for Bag Raiders - Shooting Stars.

That's my start anyway.

This will prove itself a massive fail if it doesn't end up including "My life would suck without you", "I do not hook up" or "This is who I am", all massive hits in 2009 :)

NOFX - Creeping Out Sara - bit of a try-hard song but don't mind it anyway.

The new muse albums isnt anything like radiohead, OK computer is still one of the best albums ever though.

The new album is anything but bland, its the most diverse album theyve ever done, have you actually listened to the whole album all the way through a couple of times damo, I wasnt blown away at first, but once you've listed a few times it makes more sense, I was just expecting/hoping it to be liked absolution, except it isnt, its better.

Never know whether to vote for the songs I really like from an album, or the most popular song to give the artist the most chance of a high position.

I had that problem the first time I voted, I ended up just voting for what I preferred, and its more satisfying if they get in.

eg, Cog - Are you interested? last year, sucker came in at like 97 and i got wood

it is called the 'triple j' hotest 100......
so songs are prob from there playlist throughout the year.
voting for album tracks that werent featured on the station is kinda missing the point.

but saying that, yeah, wood would be expected if you voted for a non-playlist track and it got in the list......

Another great year for music. Really tough to vote again! I voted on a real mix of dance, pop and alternative as well this year.

Here's what made the cut for me:

Julian Casablancas - 11th Dimension
Muse - Undisclosed Desires
N.A.S.A - Gifted (Ft. Kanye West/Lykke Li)
Bag Raiders - Shooting Stars
Kasabian - Where Did All The Love Go
Deadmau5 - I Remember
Mumford & Sons - Little Lion Man
Peter Bjorn & John - Lay It Down
The Bloody Beetroots - Warp
Bluejuice - Broken Leg

The tracks that just missed out were:

Temper Trap - Science of Fear
La Roux - Tigerlily
Shockone - Polygon (Ft. Reija Lee)
Illy - Pictures
Royksopp - Happy Up Here

It was really hard to leave La Roux out of the votes. I went to see her this year with AzzA, and I really love her, but the other songs are just too damn good.

I'm not a big skip-hop fan but I really like hearing that Illy song when I'm in the car. It's just a cruisy, relaxing tune.

Sidney Samson - Riverside
Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Heads Will Roll
Yuksek - Tonight

edit: riverside is such an awesome/awful song at the same time and I have been unable to escape it all year so it earned a spot

In all honesty was quite disappointed with the pre-release of the number 1 song... even it was by accident it ruined the whole occasion.... was pretty happy with the majority of songs included in the 100 but still to know the winner before it started kinda put a hinder on the whole thing.
