UA refused to pay for it
he bitched and moaned even though they clearly say your s*** is not covered regardless
he posted the youtube video and their shares lost $150m - no stats to show that it was related to the video or not but thats what the news seems to think
they offered to reimburse him after the video and now hes going to release two more songs about the airline

Doesnt matter how clearly they say it, they still have a duty of care, and assuming he isnt lying about the c***s throwing around his guitar, id say he has a case. Now taking that case up against a giant bureaucracy is another matter, probably easier to whine about it on youtube.

they are taking your money in exchange for transporting your item - they should make every effort possible to ensure it's not damaged. but they don't.

I watched this when it popped up in Truveo's most watched list thingy. I thought "what a douche, if you want your equipment to arrive in great condition don't load it on a commercial people jet". Was kind of funnyish though I guess.
