Crazy times,

Friend of mine who works next to the Bendigo bank 'where this happened', apparently they closed off all the surrounding streets and evacuated the area for a few hours until they discovered it wasn't a bomb.
ohh There was also a black helicopter flying around the place apparently.

UPDATE:A BANDIT who held-up a bayside bank in Redlands left a package on the counter and said it was a bomb. The robber got away with a sum of cash from the Bendigo Bank branch in Victoria Point. The area was cordoned off until specialist police arrived and declared the area safe. The Public Safety Preservation Act was revoked at 12.10pm.

yeah Wellington Point is where's it at. VP is just a cheap imitation.
