Hey guys, has anyone seen the sean penn movie? (milk) i think its called, and, is it better than the wrestler, i thought Mickey did a great job in it, havent seen the other to tell. Sean is a great actor, but yeh would of been great to see Mickey win.

haha hugh jackman rocks! I was a bit bummed Rouke didn't win, but I gotta admit Sean Penn did a great job. He always gives his all in any movie he does and this was no exception. Overall pretty deserving results in all categories (except maybe the Visual effects as Khel said).

Best opening to the academy awards I've ever seen!

I thought Slumdog was a good flick but I don't think it was *that* good.

And hopefully this will be the last we hear of Heath Ledger. They should have had some other exclusive award to give to him instead of wasting Best Supporting Actor on him which should have gone to someone who would actually appreciate it.

Just because the person who gave the best performance of the year in a particular category dies, it doesn't mean it's no longer the best performance. Which is really what the awards are acknowledging - the best performance. Not the best person still alive.

And hopefully this will be the last we hear of Heath Ledger.
