Comments on Umart are saying they have had problems, but mine is running fine, updated the firmware in the first week I got it tho, and I haven't had any problems. |

Hrm also on cable not adls2. Do most adsl2 routers also worth fine with cable?

An adsl modem/router is not what you want. The input port on a adsl modem/router accepts a phone line, not a cat5. All routers' NAT functionality only work on the input (WAN) port so you need a router that has a cat5 for input (assuming you want the router to provide DHCP).
I'm sure I've screwed up the terminology a fair bit, but I hope I've got the message across. :) |

I'd say billion or apple, I've had about 6 netgears crap themselves and 4 dlinks. Linksys possibly but they don't seem to have the Cisco quality thing going atm.
