What are peoples thoughts?

For my money its seems good but not as good as Rome. Does the second series improve on the first blah blah blah.?


Aware that it started 2 years ago but a new series is on the boil by all accounts.

Yeah, it's not really fair to compare it to Rome, it doesn't really have an answer to the Legionnaire buddy story or the gritty action that came with it, but it's a decent show in it's own right. Excellent writing/acting/sets all round.

Tudors is Showtime btw. For the most part HBO, Showtime and FX all have some quality s***. I'm most hanging for this one. HBO+Fantasy has to = win.

Yeah I know its showtime. But HBO seem to produce the most of this kind of stuff that is worth watching.

The comparison, is somewhat legit in the fictionalized authenticity over accuracy aspect.

martins novels are so f***ing boring. maybe if they cut a s***load of stuff out they could make a decent show.

I thought that was the exact recipe they used when turning a book into a tv series/movie ..
