I call bulls*** that's a modeling comp - it's just some ladies at the local Turkish rug clearance sale down in Collingwood.

Haha, Obes, that's terrible. Sorry for my dark sense of humour but it would be funny if you cropped it a bit and put in the caption, "Afghanis queue to vote in the 2003 election."

I'm not at all racist, I have many friends of many different backgrounds and nationalities - but I do have a problem with dress which is too concealing - the hijab with only a slit to look out of. You can't walk into a bank with a motorcycle helmet on, why should you be able to go into one with a hijab over your face. Someone will abuse it eventually, if not already, and it will backfire severely.

It's a really tough issue for many countries this dress. Several years ago, under Chirac, France tried to ban traditional clothing in all schools and that caused a massive stir.

look - it's not all that bad...

muslim followers aren't stupid.. their tradition will evolve and change for the same reasons that others have - the need to survive and prosper.

muslim religion is like the christian one but 650 years backwards, just compare the christian and muslim dates.

Eating bacon should be a requirement for boarding planes.

It's a lot easier to stone someone when you don't have to look at their face.

Didn't we recently let some woman have her licence photo taken with a burqa on?
$10 says her 15 y/o sister has already been all up in the club letting strange men inside the burqa
