Topic: Ausgamers files blocked by transparent proxy

So yeah, ports other than the norm (80, 443 etc) are blocked by the transparent proxy here - don't suppose there's a way to access ausgamers files on port 80 if we know the file we're after?

Worst case I just find another mirror for the stuff I'm after, but figured it may be worth checking.

yep if you follow the process through to the actual download bit (so that the temporary link to the file is created for you on the server), then right-click and grab the url from the link and rip out the :88 you should be fine

Great, thanks. FTP would work too, if there's details.

Also, I think I just found a bug on the files page - if you do a search for a term (say, 'World of Warcraft patch') and then sort by date, the sorted page has all results, not your search results.

k. Think I got the files I needed anyway, nice stable 413KB/s. But couldn't get the one main one for some reason (2.1GB) so will just go hunting for a mirror.

doh which file was it? I wonder if the proxy software can't handle large files
