The fact that a few always die making skyscrapers would be scary enough.

I reckon! Doing the exit through clouds like in pic 2 would be epic
Current height

Burj Dubai reached its final height of 818 m (2,684 ft) on January 17, 2009.[12]
You would get a solid ~25-30 seconds of freefall at least.

Hope they open up these buildings for legal jumping.

Taipei 101 is the current largest building BASE

Our office here is on the 1st floor of a 4 story building, and there's a section that sorta overhangs the street. Even that scares the s*** out of me (you've probably noticed by now I'm scared of heights) - on the Rialto observation deck I'd have to stand a meter behind the glass. I'd probably have a panic attack if I was up on the top of that thing.

Even that Taipei 101 is massive when you compare it to the other 'High' rise buildings around it.

Wow, seriously raven? I mean i don't like heights much either, but the rialto tower doesn't phase me one bit. My brother and i went to one of the outside areas there and he 'accidently' let go of his brochure and it got whisked away at a great rate of knots in a directly horizontal direction. Made us lol.

Dunno how trust worthy but:

Dubai's oil reserves have diminished significantly and are expected to be exhausted in 20 years.

Yes but they have trillions of dollars worth of business investments all over the world. They realise their oil is going to run out but that definitely won't mean goodbye Dubai.

Among their many investments is bucket loads of money in sustainable energy.

Sharia law, practiced in Dubai, mandates a series of unpleasant penalties for defaulting on financial obligations. Punishment could include castration, stoning, or bobbing for "apples" in the country's only sewerage treatment plant, and that's just for the men.

The last picture in first post goes to show how much wank it all really is. "The biggest Building..on earth blah blah"

notice how theres hardly any "Medium" sized buildings. There is no natural progression with having 1000's of 1 lvl shanty's and then 7 f*** off monster scrapers.

It's kind of like going in to battle with 7 fully upgraded Science Vessels and 100 standard space marines.

Your gonna get f***ed up!
