Apart from your usual lineup at the servo of Standard Unleaded (91,95,98 sometimes 100) and perhaps an ethanol blend of each, Diesel and LPG, what are some fuels that you've seen on pump?

I was at a servo yesterday, filling up with LPG and I saw a sign saying '2-stroke on pump'. So i went and had a look, and sure enough, there was a pump for 2-stroke, 174.9/ltr, obviously due to the high oil content. They also had Kero on pump! but it was out of order.

Anyone seen that sort of thing or any other odd fuels before?

The Ampol at Redcliffe used to have Avgas to power all those VL commodores & Excels.

ah, i'd forgotten about avgas. Doesn't it have a fairly high lead content?

I've only ever seen non-car stuff in Japan. My friend put heater oil into her car once (the danger when you can't really read what things say), it stopped a few meters later with a mighty bang. I didn't think you could get stuff like that on pump here.

I'd say it does hence why it has been phased out.

I know that instead of Super for older cars you have to use Premium Unleaded and add a converting agent that comes in a clear bottle with a green and orange label on it.

What fuel do you get when your @ the servo?

The octane super expenso is just under $60 for a tank.

You must have been in a housing commission area. That is what the abbos chug down.

The octane super expenso is just under $60 for a tank.

98 octane stuff = ~#30-$40 to fill my tank & will last me 2 weeks.

The only fuel I've seen so far is the 10% ethanol s***, 95, 98, diesel & LPG

edit: I've never seen this 100 stuff, was it only ever available at shell? Might explain it since I only ever go to the same BP since it's on the road I take to get home so I always just go there on my way passed.

Yeah, the VPower Racing stuff (100) was here, and then gone again very quickly... perhaps it was causing issues with some cars not being tuned for it?

Many many moons ago the BP on creek rd down past mnt view shopping centre, used to have 2-Stroke at the pump, infact back then a number of them did obviously becuase 4-stroke mowers wre WTF EXPENSIVE.

Kero at the pump is certainly one i have never seen before, was it in logan city or something lol.

I've seen kero at servos, not at the bowsers usually off to the side like how they often seperate LPG
as for the vpower stuff, I reckon just not many people bought it

I used to put it in my 180 whenever I could but it was fairly few and far between
it wouldn't hurt a regular engined tuned for 91-95 ron ULP

I think they've got a few hydrogen servos in California now, it'll be interesting to see if that gets anywhere

We still have V-Power Racing at the Shell just near me I think, though I haven't looked for a little while. There was only ever about 5-6 stations that had it in Vic though.

i tried using that cheaper e10 feul in my car for a week & got worse feul economy than regular unleaded so i changed back to regular unleaded. in my trailbike i gotta use the highest octane feul i can... the regular unleaded & lower octane feuls make the 600cc single ping like a mofo under load :[
