Amanda Palmer and the Danger Ensemble are touring to promote her new album, Who Killed Amanda Palmer.

Tickets are on sale now for Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne (Brisbane is at the Tivoli).

I saw her in Amsterdam a couple months ago and she f***ing rocked out, so if you like the Dresden Dolls you should definitely consider going (she does a bunch of Dresden Doll songs as well).

Tickets are available today from Ticketek.

Aye, she's good and she's hot but her swearing makes me cringe. Dresden Dolls have some great songs though.

Well this was awesome. Some big news is that she's planning to depart from the label and go the Internet route a la NiN and Radiohead, which I think is awesome. More artists realising they can ditch the labels is good news!!@

I think I did spot you in the distance trog...

It was pretty awesome. I've seen her a few times now, both touring as the Dresden Dolls and Amanda Palmer... and that was a really good show.. Shame i was extremely hung over and my back was aching, and a couple directly in front of me were making out at least 20 seconds of every minute.. But besides that it was good!

She's so cool.. And has some of the best lyrics i've heard. I love her :-)

Did you get any cool pictures? My camera was dying, but the ones i got were pretty blurry and s***ty despite me standing 3-4 people from the front..

Zoe Keating was also pretty amazing at the beginning (and all through the show, but her solo stuff stood out)... made me want to learn the cello...

heh I was there with BillyH, he mentioned you might be there... we had a look around but couldn't find you (course I've only seen you in photos slamming tequila shots with him and r_mazing so unless you were at the bar doing that I wouldn't have found you prolly)

Nah I didn't - I didn't take my camera cuz I figured I wouldn't get any shots, but as it was we were front and center and I could have taken great photos (compared to the s***ty blurry ones I took when I saw her in Amsterdam). Dammit.

That was the first time I'd been to the Tivoli; pretty awesome venue. And yeh I didn't have couple making out in front of me but there were a lot of f***heads (both drunk ones and just people that thought everyone wanted to hear their hilarious comments the whole show every time there was a bit of silence), which I guess is just part of being in a small private venue like that.

Really glad I went though, was pretty much the same set list as what I saw already (although My Favourite Things was a new one and there was that old Dresden Dolls song that I didn't recognise). She's so entertaining to watch and listen to.

Ah this sort of s*** reminds me why I get annoyed with concerts. Doesn't matter what size they are. They usually haven't organised any seating, or if they have - people are standing on the seats, and there are more inconsiderate a******s than a movie theatre. Also don't like going to the movies.
