Topic: fuel efficiency website

im after a website that can compare types of engines and pretty much output the fuel efficiency... for example, 4.2L diesel vs 2.5L petrol and how much would 50L would drive you.. ive had a look at http://www.environment.gov.au/settlements/transport/fuelguide/ but it's not exactly that great

Govt Green Vehicle Guide Just remember, your motor isn't so much responsible for fuel consumption as your vehicles weight, gearing, aerodynamics etc are.

Govt Green Vehicle Guide Just remember, your motor isn't so much responsible for fuel consumption as your vehicles weight, gearing, aerodynamics etc is.

The biggest factor for fuel efficiency is driver behaviour. If you step on it, change gears at the correct RPM, etc. One of the recent recommendations is that manual vehicles should have a gear-change indicator as standard because too many drivers change gears at the incorrect time.

yeah they should include every engine thats ever been made, ever, just in case someone brings it into australia
