Tell us about your first date, and how old you were at the time? Did anyone end up getting engaged to your first date? was she a bit of alright? etc.

first date was back in grade 10. Blonde with a beautiful body.

back then it was a little bit of high school lovin, only 4 years back for me now (19). We dated for a couple of months and that was it. just the kissy lovey dovey relationship high school thing.

First serious girlfriend for me was yr 11 (although I had plenty of non-serious, party-type of hook-ups). Fresh from an all-boys school I went to a coed school for yr 11 and the hormones were raging.

I used to have a self-confidence issue, face covered with pimples. Went on Roaccutane - cleared that s*** up like a treat and I turned into a wild child. Wouldn't knock a chick back (within reason)! Lol, times have changed, I'm as good as married now.

I too was in year 10.

I can't even remember her name at the moment (year 10 was a long time ago for me).

After we got back from a party she started pashing me out the front of her place but then her Dad called out for her to come inside (perhaps he saw us?).

I was left out the front on the footpath on my own with a massive erection that would rival Ron Burgundy. When she walked off i tried to bend over a little so it wouldn't look so obvious :)

As for me... 16, I was in Hiroshima and met this hot Jap chick while I was at school so I asked her to show me around the shops. I bought her some cadbury chocolate because she had no idea what it was and I ridiculed her for it.

For our 3rd date her mother organised a classical concert so I obliged and went with her to see it. I fell asleep, she told her mother...she was not impressed. I then returned to Australia and she is now just a memory.

I would classify my first date back in grade 8. Went to the ekka with a guy from school, he was in grade 9.

We attempted to kiss at the end of the date but his mates were there saying stupid stuff as mates do.

Pity, if I had kissed him then I would have found out he was a crap kisser and would have dumped him quicker.

I had two 'girlfriends' at the same time in Grade 1. One of em walked me to my mum's car and I kissed her on the hand before I got into the car. Mum belted me for it. I am still emotionally scarred. Sif you smack your kid for kissing some bird on the hand in Grade 1 - I think it's cute.

Funny about your kissing story, Kat. I kissed this girl at a party in yr 11 and she was all braces. Teeth on teeth. It was f***ing awful. Next day she denied it, said she was drunk and couldn't remember. I was heartbroken. Never kiss a Uniting Church girl is the moral of that story.

When I was 18 I picked up this bird in a club, took her to my car, things got steamy, she had a tattoo on her shaved box. I said, "Man, you're gonna regret that when you're 40 - much less when you're 20!" Hehe, that was the end of that romance. I probably wouldn't say that again if I had the choice TBH, it sounds dicky to me now - just telling it like it was though.

I took my mums car for my first 'real' date, no licence etc
had a good date, dropped her home, was about a 3k drive home from her place and I got pulled over + taken home in a police car

I don't really know what I'd consider my first date. But I know pretty well all of the ones in school were s***. Used to love champagne nights with the girls laughing about how s***ty our dates were. I remember my mate at the time going on a date with some guy who offered to take her out for a really nice night. They went out and he forgot his wallet so he was like okay you're paying. And then as they were walking to the car he said he had to piss, and pissed on the side of the road next to their car. Not sure why, but she continued seeing him after. We're no longer friends, so it's okay for me to lol at her because he dumped her while they were still naked in bed. HAHA

My first date involved NYE and almost getting bashed by her boyfriend, bitch didn't tell me she had 1. My 2nd date was the same night with the same result, NYE is dangerous.

Aside from girls in primary school that you 'go out with' for a few days or even a few weeks, probably the first 'proper' date was grade 10. Can't remember what movie we saw. Her dad dropped her there as it was starting, so there was not really even any talking before it. I realised I wasn't into her... fairly podgey and ugly... so I pretended to have a headache from 'panadol and bourbon' so I didn't have to talk to her much after the movie, and didn't have to kiss her. lol. good move, she just got worse and worse by the end of school. phew!

Had a few rad first dates since, and all sorted now.
