Dad just called from video eazy, apparently they have new Heroes DVD boxsets out for the new season. I told him to rent them for me, and he's currently driving them home for me.

The problem with this is, Heroes is good to watch. So good that I want to watch the next episode right away. Myself and the Girly went through Season 2 in about a day..
So I'll have to wait until they are all released.

I won't be suprised if this season we realise that the show isn't that good, that it's been floundering since they saved the cheerleader half way through s1, and that the new characters and twists are as boring as the fleeing mexicans.

I hope I am wrong, but they will need to step it up a notch.

Season 2 ended early because of the writers strike. And the new season isn't out on DVD, it's only just started airing.

Anyway, so far I'm totally over Hiro. He is really starting to f***ing s*** me off and he's such a boring-ass character. Also Claire is acting like a little whiney bitch. Poor me, I'm invincible and can't feel pain, wah! And I really hope that Mika kid never, ever shows up in this series again.

Claire was all black-eyeliner and emo and s*** in the future. Peter went back in time and changed things .. which ended up causing her to go down this path in the first place while everything else changed? Doesn't make sense.

No, when Sylar had her on the table, she asked "Why can't I feel anything?" to which he said "No nerve endings". The brain doesn't have nerve endings, meaning that it doesn't feel any pain. From what I remember, it's never been said that she can't feel any pain.

Last ep was damn awesome although I could watch the show if it was just about Sylar going around and killing everyone. Get rid of all the main guys and just have Sylar. Also, Peter should be the next to be killed off. He's such a little whiny bitch.

There's not enough slow-mo time travelling and power battles and stuff. The show is still cool but some of the plots are getting a little confusing or boring. First season was way better. I think the third season has got lost in a maze of future and past timelines and s***.

At least Ando finally has a power. Pity S3 was only 13 eps long :(

What a clusterf*** of a season, I now believe they are making s*** up one episode in advance.

There seems to be little medium or long-term coherence to the story except stuff from the past that they draw on randomly to poorly tie s*** together. Hell, even scenes that they repeat in follow-on episodes are often significantly different to the original with a different emphasis.

Too many powers, too many of the powers too powerful, too many people having said powers, too many allegiance changes. Hell why didn't the father just go invisible, time travel and nuke/steal s*** while time was frozen? Wouldn't make a good story, and neither does having so many powers :(

Yeah I don't get it.... they've lost the plot completely (do they even have one to begin with ? ). Personally I really don't enjoy watching this show ever since Season 2....

Yeah I still watch it, but its getting to the point of being "annoying" to watch. The plot/time lines are too complex and mixed up and its too much about this stupid "company" and the formula crap. People are changing sides every 10 mins and loyalties are all over the place. People losing (the best) powers, then getting some other crappy powers back. Things like that. Hard to put a pin on but the plot lines are getting irritating. I wanna see cool time travel things and mad battles between sylar and people and stuff.

And peter patrelli's facial expression pisses me off.

Also, I think they've disconnected the characters and storyline from the actual world around them too much so that when, for example, Nathan Patrelli talks about his senate stuff, its hard to believe that they even exist in that 'outside' world because there's no connections back to the normal world anymore. Its pretty much just scenes with the characters and no actual "walking through the streets talking about whatever" like in season 1. If you get my meaning.

erm that was only the end of volume 3 with volume 4 starting next feb. season 3 is comprised of volume 3 and 4.

imo peter got his same power back because he would still have the genetic marker for that particular power.

Bleh. I found myself skipping through season 3 of this and season 2 of terminator. I'd load the episode and skip full parts I know are going to be boring.

You watch these f***ing network shows and compare it to something on HBO like sopranos and Oz and you realise how much more content and story fits in a single cable tv episode whereas network shows drag out single plot bs for the whole 22 episodes.

I hope that Breaking Bad show comes back. It was sickoooooo.

I was hoping when Petrelli threw Hiro off the roof he was really dead, hes such a crap character now (and not just since he lost his powers, hes been crap all season), I'd rather he was killed off than have to sit through more of him.

Yeah, Hiro sucks ass so much. Constantly babbling on about saving the world and when he lost his memory god damn he was annoying as hell. Actually, most of the good guys suck. Noah is the only one I really like although he makes some stupid decisions. How many times has he killed Sylar and never fully finished the job? If it was me I'd be cutting him up into pieces.

And they better not bring that little black c*** back into the series either. Most annoying character ever.
