And I'm excited - It has Bon Jovi & The Eagles, which means I now have 0 reason to get Rock Band. Now to sell a bunch of stuff to fund an XB360 before this date.

Very nice although doubling up on bands and even triple like the Tool ones sorts sucks because they could've chucked in some other groups.

Also, Hotel California is too f***ing slow, I reckon something like Take It Easy would've been better. Anyway, still majorly hanging out for this, gonna be so much fun.

A handful of good stuff, but a bit underwhelming imo =\

Some odd choices, and they made a big deal out of having Ozzy and Sting in the game yet the Ozzy and Sting songs aren't the big hitters I would have expected.

I want to play living end, van halen, the eagles, filter and a couple of others, but theres a lot there I could happily leave behind. Maybe I'll just wait till those songs come out as Rock Band DLC :P

In inclined to agree, I think RB 2 has the edge on available tracks - at least for my tastes and especially since you can still import everything from the original.

I guess it doesn't really matter if you can play both games. I don't expect the gameplay value to be much different between the two, regardless of which one has more cymbals or how difficult the note charts are on expert.

Are we forgetting about the ability for people to create their own covera and upload them? RB hs more songs, but GH4 is going to have everyone that buys it (and could be arsed to record it) putting up songs for them!

Very much looking forward to this... I've started playing songs on expert on GH3, and I'm stuck :)

It's a cool sounding feature and all, but I dunno. I have zero desire to press buttons along to some kids blips and bloops and I just can't see anything of any real worth being manufactured through that editor that isn't a gross copyright infringement.

I play these games because they are a different way of enjoying and interacting with music that I already listen to. Maybe I'll be proved wrong, but I just can't see the editor adding anything to the fun for me. It seems more like an outlet for kids to make their own melodies and play them back more like the Spore creature creator than a serious method of music composition.
