So yesterday was trying to get some tickets on the ticketek website for MGMT on the 10th Dec at the Tivoli. Refreshing the page at 8:59, buy button comes on at 9:00... click buy and select 2 tickets ... then get the message allocation exhausted. WTF? So get a mate to keep on refreshing the page whilst I run to the ticketek booth 3 minutes away... there's a line of 20 people for MGMT tickets. 5 manage to get 4 tickets each! WTF is up with that s***? How the f@ck do they get tickets when i'm on the f@cking website?!!?!?!?! Get a life Ticketek!

There's my rant ... oh and if anyone has x2 tickets for MGMT i'll pay $150 each for them today.

I saw MGMT last month at Oxegen, they were tops, I know this doesn't help you.

I'll have similar rage issues tomorrow when I can't access ticketmaster website for Oasis tickets that go on sale at 9am!

Ticketek is s*** for buying tickets online. After all these years their online ticketing service sucks balls when big event sales launch

The additional charges are ridiculous: Venue pickup is now the same charge as Registered Post ($6.95)...and the ezyTicket option (where you print out a .PDF ticket that is *emailed* to you) is $3.25! f*** em.

Lame is the right word for this except Ticketek wasn't lame, you were. If you live 3 minutes away from a Ticketek booth, why weren't you there in the line? If you were, you would've known your competition.

Did you stop to consider that they allocate a certain number to each of the buying methods to make it fairer for people?

If you really wanted tickets to MGMT you would've researched getting a ticket though the pre-sale. I received about 3 emails about it. I guess, you deserve not to have a ticket.
