I am guardedly interested. i have never seen the original so it'll be like a new movie for me, but I still feel like I shouldn't see it just so they start getting the message that we want some new movies for a change.

But we can never forgive Keanu for the Matrix thing. Bad sequels and worst of all the Reloaded ass incident. Ugh.

I liked the original but I bet this will have some lame ending where Keanu tells us we need to look after our planet more or he'll be back to destroy it.

Aw cmon, when he played Ted in Bill & Ted he had to display a whole range of emotions... being stupid, confused, annoyed, happy. all of which required him to do the same face only change what he said

Anyway, while on the topic of remakes and rehashes, there's a remake of Logan's Run on the way that follows the story of the novel more closely. I think that would be another good old school sci fi movie to remake. Soylent Green would be another good one.

Also, I think they should have remade To Kill a Mockingbird before Dakota Fanning was too old to play Scout.

You know after watching the trailer, Keanu may actually be semi decent in this. I mean if he is playing an alien, who is inside a host body, then you'd think that he would be rather... blank emotion wise. At least that is what i think. still think his most perfect roll though was as Ted.
