Did anyone watch Hollowmen, the new ABC parliamentary mockumentary from Rob Sitch and Santo Cilaro?
I love these guys' work and it is a great topic for them to pisstake. Very much in the style of Frontline and well worth a watch. It is also available as video on demand on the website. |

Definitely got some potential. I think Stich's character has a bit of David Brent about him. But yes, would defo watch the whole series.

I want to like this series, but to be honest I just don't find it that funny.

I like it, but I missed the first 10min last night and so found it a bit hard to follow. Saw all of the first episode though and thought it was awesome.

is there any way on that site not to have to watch it in that tiny tv screen Rob Sitch had a funny comment at the end of an interview he did on the radio last week when he stated: 'it's on ABC1 tonite, and all illegal download sites tomorrow' I bet he leeches like a demon |

Rob Sitch had a funny comment at the end of an interview he did on the radio last week when he stated: 'it's on ABC1 tonite, and all illegal download sites tomorrow Between them, the panel, the chaser and a few others they have probably cracked that joke about 50 zillion times. Still gets a chuckle because its true. |

Just watched both episodes and thoroughly enjoyed. Some of the characters are a bit too similar to their Frontline versions, but it's good to have something to watch.

yeh its not piss-yer-pants funny, more 'biting satire'.
Chuck the shows 'Frontline' and 'Yes, Prime Minister' in a blender and thats what Hollowmen is. |

thanks for mentioning this! Watched both eps then and loved it. I was a big Yes (Prime) Minister fan back in the day and loved frontline etc so right up my alley :)
